Check a company before you sign

Ask your AI for a full check of an Estonian company from official registry data, with a plain verdict, for about 35 cents.

Before you sign with a new client or keep paying a supplier, you can ask your AI to read what is officially filed about the company and give you a plain verdict. The check uses the Estonian company apps in Discover, which read official registry data, so the answer cites filings rather than guesses.

    Who it is for

    • Sales: check a new client before you sign or extend credit.
    • Procurement: check that a supplier is still in good health.
    • Founders in Estonia: check a partner, investor company or landlord before you commit.

The apps cover companies registered in Estonia.

    What you need

    • An Ahel account. The Free plan works, and the one-time $5 balance at sign-up pays for the queries.
    • These apps from Discover. Search for "Estonian" and add each one:
AppWhat it adds to the check
Estonian CompaniesIdentity: name, registry code, status, address, activity
Estonian Company OfficersBoard and council members
Estonian Beneficial OwnersWho ultimately owns or controls the company
Estonian Annual AccountsRevenue, profit and equity over the years
Estonian Paid TaxesTaxes paid by quarter
Estonian Commercial PledgesPledges registered on the company's assets
Estonian Registry RulingsRulings from the registry court
Estonian Official AnnouncementsNotices such as liquidation, bankruptcy or merger

Each query costs 3 cents from your workspace balance. They need no account or key of your own. Add an app from Discover shows the steps.

    Run the check

Open a new chat in the AI you use with Ahel and paste one of these prompts. Replace the company name with yours, or use its registry code.

    Client vetting

Using Ahel, run a full check on the Estonian company COMPANY NAME before we sign with them as a client. Cover identity, officers and beneficial owners, the financial trend from annual accounts and paid taxes, commercial pledges, registry rulings and official announcements. End with a plain verdict: green, amber or red, and the reasons.

    Supplier health

Using Ahel, check whether our supplier COMPANY NAME, an Estonian company, is in good health. List its commercial pledges, registry rulings and official announcements, say whether any of them is alarming, and summarise the trend in its annual accounts and paid taxes.

Your AI calls the apps one after another. Expect the answer in two to three minutes.

    What the answer contains

    • Identity: the registered name, registry code, status, address and main activity.
    • Officers and owners: the current board and the beneficial owners.
    • Financial trend: revenue and profit from the annual accounts, and taxes paid by quarter, so you see whether the company is growing or shrinking.
    • Pledges: any commercial pledges on the company's assets, and to whom.
    • Rulings: registry court rulings about the company.
    • Announcements: official notices, such as a liquidation or a bankruptcy.
    • A plain verdict: green, amber or red, with the reasons in one or two sentences.

    What it costs

It costs about 35 to 40 cents per full check in the web chat, apps and model together. Two checks run in the web chat on a Free account cost 37 cents (a client check, verdict green) and 35 cents (a supplier check, with nothing alarming found), and took about 2 and 2.5 minutes. A shorter question, such as only the pledges, costs less.

In the web chat the model you pick is also paid from your balance; the model picker shows its price. In Claude or ChatGPT the model is paid by your plan with that tool, and only the queries come from your Ahel balance.

    What it cannot do yet

Read the verdict as a summary of the filings, not as legal or credit advice.

    Where to run it

    • Claude: connect Claude to Ahel. The answer comes back as a card, and always as complete text.
    • ChatGPT: connect ChatGPT to Ahel. The answer comes back as complete text.
    • The web chat: open ahel.ai/chat, signed in to Ahel. Your workspace apps are already there, with nothing to connect.

In every case, add the apps above to your workspace first.
