    Plans, limits and usage

What each ahel plan costs and includes, what counts as a served call or a public app request, and what happens at each limit.

Every figure on this page is read from the same table the pricing page and billing sell from, so it is current. Prices are in US dollars; visitors in the EU, the EEA, Switzerland and the UK see and pay euro prices on the pricing page.

Every plan includes the connector, Discover, the vault, confirm before every change, Activity receipts and Studio. Launch adds making apps public, your own domain, the directory kit, payments for your app, and kits for new teammates. Team adds approval rules, teammate handoffs and the team audit log.

Three kinds of cost, kept apart

    • Your ahel plan: the monthly or yearly price above.
    • The app vendors: each app runs on your own account and key with its vendor, who bills you directly. ahel does not resell vendor accounts.
    • Your AI tool: models and chats are paid for in your AI tool's own plan, not through ahel.

    What counts

A served call is a call ahel runs itself for your AI: an app action, a direct request to an app's API, a script, or an ahel-hosted server. Each one is 1¢ against your plan's included amount for the month. Calls to a vendor's own server with your key, and skills, are not counted. Activity marks counted calls "Metered, within your plan's allowance". Prepaid top-ups beyond the included amount are not open yet.

A request to a public app is one call to a tool of an app you published, made by someone outside your workspace. These come out of your monthly pool, not your included amount or your daily calls, and nobody pays per request.

Your own use of your apps, in your own AI, counts against your calls a day and requests a minute.

    At each limit

    LimitWhat happens
Requests a minute or calls a dayThe call is refused with "Too many requests. Try again in" a few seconds (HTTP 429). It works again after the wait, or the next day.
Public app pool at 80% and 100%Owners and team leads get one email each time. The apps keep answering.
Public app pool at 150%People outside the workspace see "This app has reached its monthly request pool." until the next month or an upgrade.
SeatsNo new invites until a seat is free or added. See Set up a team.

    Change or cancel a plan

    • Change plans in billing at any time. The change is prorated.
    • Cancel from billing. The plan runs to the end of the period you paid for, then the workspace returns to Free. You can undo the cancellation in billing until then.
    • Only the owner manages billing.

    Team trial

A Free workspace's owner can start one 14-day Team trial from billing. No credit card is needed, and it returns to Free automatically with no automatic charge. See Try Team for 14 days.
