Connect your AI · How-to guide

Claude Code

Add Ahel to Claude Code with one command, sign in from /mcp, and call a pipeline tool from the terminal.

Claude Code adds Ahel with one command and keeps it for every project.

Verified end to end on 2026-10-20 against a local Ahel, with an access token: the command added the server, claude mcp list showed it Connected, and a Claude Code session called pipelines_catalog and answered with two bid pipelines. The browser sign-in was verified the day before with another MCP client.

Steps

  1. Copy your address from Settings, then Connect AI.

  2. Run this once, with your address in place of the default:

claude mcp add --transport http --scope user ahel 'https://mcp.ahel.ai'

  3. In Claude Code, run /mcp, select ahel and sign in to Ahel in the browser that opens.

  4. Run claude mcp list. Ahel shows Connected.

  5. Ask: "Use Ahel to find pipelines for public bids".

With an access token

For CI or a machine without a browser, create an access token in Settings, then Connect AI, and pass it as a header:

claude mcp add --transport http --scope user ahel 'YOUR_ADDRESS' --header 'Authorization: Bearer YOUR_TOKEN'

The command saves the entry without testing it. A wrong token shows a failed row with a 401 in /mcp.

Remove it

claude mcp remove ahel -s user
